Arrive in Cairo where your private arrival transfer will transport you to your hotel. The rest of your day is at your leisure relax or explore the bustling streets of Egypt's capital city.

Cairo:

Your full-day tour begins when your expert guide meets you at your hotel and escorts you to the magnificent Pyramids of Giza for an unforgettable visit to the last surviving monuments of the ancient world (including the famous Sphinx). After lunch, your tour takes you to Memphis (the ancient capital of Lower Egypt) for a guided tour where you'll explore the legendary necropolis of Saqqara, including the famous Step Pyramid (the oldest stone pyramid in the world).

Cairo:

Visit the citadel of Salah El Din, a medieval Islamic-era fortification preserved as a World Heritage Site and one of Cairo's main attractions. Inside the citadel, you will visit the impressive Mohamed Ali mosque, named after Mohamed Ali Pasha, the 19th-century Ottoman ruler of Egypt. After exploring these sites, your guide will take you to absorb the colors and aromas of the famous bazaar of Khan El Khalili in the heart of Cairo. Here you will have an opportunity to barter for souvenirs and enjoy the local custom of drinking mint tea while you shop.

Luxor:

After breakfast, meet your driver for a private transfer for your flight to Luxor. Spread out on the east bank of the Nile, Luxor is the tourist Mecca of the Nile Valley. Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, you will have a transfer to your Nile Cruise* and your representative will escort you to the ship, where the crew will welcome you aboard. After checking in, your first day on the ship is free for you to relax with an international buffet for lunch and dinner as well as music in the bar.

The remote barren Valley of the Kings was the necropolis of the New Kingdom pharaohs and is home to 62 tombs. Next you'll sail to Esna and in the evening, enjoy welcome cocktails, dinner, and music.
