Upon arrival at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport and after you have collected your luggage, you will be met in the Arrivals Hall by your private guide and driver who will transfer you to your hotel.

Your private driver and English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel for your afternoon / evening excursion during which you will witness how the lively Chao Phraya River, and the glittering temples and ancient architecture of the old city change from daylight to dusk. Your first visit of the afternoon will be to Pak Klong Talad, a large flower market teeming with life and color. You'll wander through the sweetly scented stalls piled high with locally grown orchids and intricately strung flower garlands. Continue to Wat Pho, also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha as it houses a shimmering gold-plated Buddha image that measures astonishing 46-metres long. In the grounds are over 100 chedis, some containing the ashes of past kings. Then it's time to soothe your tired muscles with a traditional Thai massage that promises to relieve aches and pains followed by dinner in a local restaurant. You'll finish your evening with a fun tour of the historic quarter in a refurbished tram as you pass by some of the city's most important and oldest sights including the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, the Golden Mount, the City Pillar Shrine, the National Theatre, Wat Pho and the breathtaking Grand Palace. Return to your hotel.

Songkran Festival

Your private driver and English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel to head to the landmark places to enjoy splashing water. Traditionally, Thais would politely pour a bowl of water on members of the family, their close friends and neighbors. As Songkran has taken a more festive note, a bowl becomes a bucket, garden hose and water guns, and the spirit of holiday merriment is shared amongst all town residents and tourists alike. You'll walk along Khao San Road mingling with the many tourists - Thais and foreigners. You'll enjoy your dinner at Aquatini Bar & Riverside Restaurant famous for their delicious Thai cuisine served as you sit on their open-air river terrace listening to soft Bossa-nova music, taking in the sky and enjoying the cool river breeze. Return to your hotel.
