Your guide will meet you at your hotel for your Private Walking Tour. This 2.5-hour walk starts with an exploration of Salzburg's old town with its narrow, crooked little streets and the unique passageways. Salzburg's commercial center still remains intact in its medieval charm contrasting the great spacious Baroque squares of the district where the Archbishops presided over the city in their Residence. You will pass by Mozart's Birthplace on Getreidegasse and the Festival Halls before you reach St. Peter's Abbey; a monastery of the Benedictines dating back to 696 AD. Along the way, your guide will provide interesting stories of Salzburg's medieval salt history (the white gold) as well as tales about the Mozart family's lives and careers. This evening, enjoy a 3-course dinner at the historic Sternbräu. The "Sternbräu" is located right in the middle of the Old Town of Salzburg, along the pedestrian Getreidegasse.

Glacier:
Today meet your guide for a private tour of the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. The legend of Kitzsteinhorn is not just a glacier, but 'The' glacier, and the first glacier ski resort in Austria. At 10,509 ft (3,203 meters), the Kitzsteinhorn summit station is the highest point in the Salzburg province, and is accessible without special alpine skills all year round by cable car. You'll reach the "Top of Salzburg"; Salzburg's highest panoramic-platform and be rewarded with stunning views of the Großglockner and Großvenediger. 'Smile, please!' is the motto at the automatic photo point. Having taken a photo, you can download it from the website free of charge afterwards. In the mystic National Park Gallery, the National Park Ranger will be available to explain the formation of mountain crystals, precious stones, and the Hohe Tauern. Enjoy lunch on your own at the Kitzsteinhorn summit restaurant. Take a seat in front of the large panoramic windows in the self-service area or the 'Schmittenblick' restaurant affording a breathtaking 5-star vista.
