Arrival in Paris:

Arrive by air or rail into the City of Light. You will have the option of private transfers at the Paris airports and the rail stations to whisk you to your hotel. Avanti offers an array of properties, ranging from classic and historical to chic and glitzy, all conveniently close to a Metro stop. Paris:

You have the day at leisure to explore Paris, using your Visite Pass. Don't forget the Invalides, the museum relating to the military history of France, and Napoleon's burial site. Not far away is the Pantheon where many French national heroes are interred, such as Voltaire, Victor Hugo, Louis Braille, Marie Curie, and Alexander Dumas. For the impressionist art lovers, there is the Musée d'Orsay and the Orangerie, as well as the Picasso and Rodin museums. In the evening you will enjoy a Paris Illuminations and Seine River Cruise. Paris is a beautiful city anytime, but especially at night. Relax on your cruise boat as you glide past Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower and other famous monuments.

Paris:

This morning you'll have a Private Gourmet Walking Tour of the Latin Quarter, Paris' most historic district. In addition to being the center for scholars since the Middle Ages, the Latin Quarter more recently has become home to several prize-winning cheese mongers, sweet shops and bistros. Sample these delights, along with baguettes and pastries, as your guide leads you to some of Paris' best purveyors of food. You'll also find some of the Quarter's best monuments, such as the Pantheon, Ernest Hemingway's home and Paris' best English-language bookstore. In the afternoon continue to enjoy Paris on your own.

Paris to Barcelona:

After breakfast, check out of your hotel for your journey from Paris to Barcelona. Optional rail station transfer available to take you to your Barcelona hotel. Colorful and quirky, this busy Mediterranean port city is the dramatic setting for the modernist works of Antonio GaudÍ. Drink and dine around the famous bar and restaurant scene.

Barcelona:

After breakfast, enjoy your city tour. Private Barcelona Tour by Driving Guide: Take a short overall tour of Barcelona in a private car with an English-speaking driver. He is at your disposal for 2 hours to show you the city as you wish. Although he is not allowed to take you into the museums and be your inside guide, he can explain the importance of the monuments from outside and wait if you wish to tour inside. This is a flexible way to see the city with your own private transportation. You have the rest of the day at leisure to explore or take an optional tour.

Barcelona:

Today try a taste of the Spanish seaside and enjoy a hands on cooking class featuring one of Spain's most famous dishes, Paella. Learn how to cook this rice-based dish with seafood, meat and vegetables. Prior to the lesson you will go to local market to buy the ingredients. Following the instructions of the chef, you will prepare your own full menu consisting of paella, two different tapas and a dessert. Afterwards enjoy your creation for lunch.

Barcelona to Madrid:

After breakfast, head to the rail station where you'll catch your train to Madrid with reservation in 1st class. This trip will take 2 1/2 hours. After finding your hotel, you have the rest of the day to relax or to begin exploring Madrid on your own.

Madrid:

This morning you'll have a two-hour Private Panoramic City Tour. Meet your private driver at hotel reception. Enjoy a comfortable tour during 2 hours by private car. Your driver would ask you for your preferences and he will show you a complete vision of Madrid. Enjoy panoramic sightseeing of the old part of the city. We will also approach the façade of the Royal Palace, the Sabatini Gardens and Campo del Moro, located in the city center. The church of San Francisco El Grande, the fountains of Paseo del Prado, the Toledo Bridge, the Prado Museum, and Puerta de Alcalá are also good examples of this splendid style.

The afternoon will be at your leisure to further explore the city. In the evening enjoy a 3-course dinner at a traditional restaurant.

Toledo:

Today you'll enjoy a 5-hour tour of the historic city of Toledo. Toledo is a museum city of great artistic beauty. It was once the capital of Spain and it`s one of the oldest cities in Europe. Toledo has many magnificent examples of architecture from different eras and has been declared a Heritage of Humanity destination by UNESCO. We will also admire the city`s famous handicraft works: the damasquinado (precious metals encrusted on steel).

In the afternoon, return to Madrid and enjoy some free time.

Madrid to Seville:

After breakfast, head for the rail station where you'll catch your train to Seville with reservations in 1st class. This ride will take about 1 1/2 hours. This beautiful capital of Andalucía is famous for its wonderful tapas, romantic setting, and the passionate art of flamenco. Free time after arrival, then overnight in one of our hand-picked properties.

Seville:

This morning, your English-speaking guide will take you on a Private Walking Tour of central Seville. During the tour you will see two marvels of the medieval world. The grand Royal Palace of Seville, the Alcazar, was built by the Moorish kings of Hispania. See the arches and intricate carvings typical of Arabic architecture as well as the gardens and Mercury Pond.

You will also visit the majestic Cathedral of Seville. The third largest church in Europe, as well as the largest Gothic building, it was built to demonstrate the wealth and power of a newly unified Spain after the fall of Granada. After the tour, you have free time to relax or do some sightseeing on your own.

Seville:

Today enjoy a free day on your own in Seville.

Spend the evening enjoying a traditional 3-course dinner and a Flamenco Show. Enjoy a deliciously authentic dinner at El Patio Sevillano, while taking in a lively Flamenco show. The tablao (restaurant) is located on the Guadalquivir riverbank, opposite the Triana quarter, next to the bullring Real Plaza de Toros.
