Futaleufú, Chile - Carretera Austral:
Pata Farm Lodge

Futaleufú is located in the Carretera Austral region of Northern Patagonia. Home to windswept valleys surrounded by snowcapped peaks, swiftly flowing rivers, and magnificent waterfalls, this is one of the most beautiful and untouched parts of Chile. Geographically isolated from the rest of Chile (it is in fact best reached from Esquel, Argentina), the pristine landscapes of Futaleufú are perfect for adventurous nature seekers, and are home to some of the best rafting locations in the world.

Here you find Pata Lodge, a unique accommodation and sustainability project on 252 acres of untouched wilderness. This tranquil and cozy lodge presents a vision of sustainability - they have crafted a place that focuses on natural preservation, organic farming, and education, as well as hosting adventurous travelers looking to explore its beautiful surroundings. The property is home to vast gardens, sheep farming, honey production, a greenhouse, a restaurant and interconnected pathways ready to be explored. Guests are invited to relax enjoying the natural scenery or opt for one of the various activities available, such as rafting or kayaking. Witness firsthand how this fully integrated "village" promotes the farm-to-table concept using only local and organic products.
