Your Half Day Sugar Loaf Tour begins with a drive through downtown Rio with a stop at the Metropolitan Cathedral. Continue to Praia Vermelha to take the two-stage cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf, one of Rio's signature landmarks. This solid granite monolith, standing 887 feet tall, overlooks the entrance to Rio`s harbor and Guanabara Bay. The first stage of the cable car takes you to Morro da Urca (558 feet), where there is a restaurant and a heliport. The second stage takes you to the top for the unforgettable views of Copacabana beach, Santa Cruz and Guanabara Bay.
