After breakfast, set out on an adventure to the Golden Circle and Fontana Steam Baths for an ideal blend of history, natural phenomena, and revitalization for your body. Begin with a visit to Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the Icelandic parliament Althingi was established in 930 AD. Continue to Lake Laugarvatn and Fontana Geothermal Baths (bring a towel and a swimsuit or they can also be rented on spot) for a soak and relaxation in the natural steam rooms. You'll also have the opportunity to visit a geothermal bakery where rye bread, which bakes in a pot in the warm sand, is dug out and covered with delicious Icelandic butter. After a relaxing bath, continue to Gullfoss waterfall and the hot spring area around Geysir and Strokkur which spout at regular intervals up to 82 feet.

Today, take a tour along the southern coast of Iceland, one of the country's most scenic regions, going as far as Vik, a charming village surrounded by beautiful high bird cliffs. Along the way, stop at the gorgeous Seljalandsfoss waterfall where you'll be able to walk behind it and through to the other side. Another stop is the much-photographed Skogafoss waterfall, with its 60-meter drop. Along the way, you'll also take in views of the stunning Myrdalsjokull glacier, the black sand coastline, and the impressive Reynisdrangar rock formations.

Whether you are an experienced equestrian or not, today you are in for the horseback ride of a lifetime. Embark on an adventurous ride through the lava fields around Mt. Helgafell or Lake Hvaleyrarvatn. Icelandic horses are unique to the country of Iceland, having been bred in isolation from the outside world, and are known for their smooth riding qualities and their fifth gait, the tolt, which allows the rider a bounce-free ride. Ride through rough lava fields and take a look at different rock formations as the beautiful Blafjoll Mountains tower on the horizon.

This mesmerizing lagoon is one of the most notable and famous landmarks of Iceland and its legendary waters are said to possess special healing properties. With an average temperature of 100 degrees, the lagoon provides its visitors with warmth even as the snow slowly falls around them and its naturally smooth floors are deepest at about 5 feet, making it perfect to sit, stand, or float.
