Today the city combines this heritage with a progressive vision to be a city that delivers surprise and delight in equal measures.

After checking in to your hotel, explore Manchester on a 90-minute bus tour where you'll discover the city's heritage and learn its history. You'll see highlights such as the Manchester Town Hall, a magnificent Victorian Gothic building steeped in history, as well as Piccadilly Gardens and Manchester Cathedral which features the finest medieval woodwork in the north and beautiful modern glass details. Football fans will delight in learning the history of Old Trafford stadium which has welcomed millions of Manchester United fans over the years while history buffs will enjoy the Imperial War Museum North which explores how lives have been, and still are, shaped by war and conflict. From Manchester, take the train to London, the capital of England and the United Kingdom, a 21st-century city with history stretching back to Roman times. Across the Thames River, the London Eye observation wheel provides panoramic views of the South Bank cultural complex, and the entire city.

You will have some time at your leisure before exploring the most iconic and postcard-famous London tourist spots and a lot more, all from the comfort of your own private black cab; a London icon in itself! As a passionate food expert, Celia will show you the best that Borough has to offer and lavish you with bespoke tastings of the unique foods and wines on offer here.
