Arrive Manchester:
Welcome to Manchester, a former city of industry that has been energetically revitalized and is now a center of culture, science, and sport. After arriving at Manchester International Airport, meet your driver for a private transfer to your hotel in the center. After checking-in to your hotel, find your bearings around the city by taking a hop-on & hop-off bus tour of Manchester, taking you to its most famous attractions ranging from its museums to its stadiums and its historic landmarks constructed in classic Victorian Gothic style. While the tour can be completed in 90 minutes, you can hop-off to explore locations that pique your interest and conveniently hop back on to the next bus to continue the tour at your own pace! After the tour, the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Lake District:
After breakfast, embark upon a journey through Northern England's iconic countryside on route to the quaint yet gorgeous Lake District. The Lake District is one of England's most well-known natural attractions and has a legacy of inspiring writers, including Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth, with its timeless beauty. The first stop of the tour is on the shores of Windermere, where you have time to wander the town or cruise upon the lake. Next, visit the village of Hawkshead where William Wordsworth attended Grammar School and where you can visit Wordsworth's Dove Cottage, famous for its gingerbread. Finally, drive past Ullswater Lake towards the medieval architecture of Lancaster before returning to Manchester in the evening where the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Manchester to Liverpool:
After breakfast, head west by rail towards the sea for the famous maritime city of Liverpool, where the River Mersey meets the Irish Sea. This port town was a vital point for trade and migration but is arguably most famous as the hometown of The Beatles. After arriving and checking-in to your hotel, take a tour of Liverpool and be transported back into the early 60s at The Beatles Story exhibition museum. This immersive exhibit will take visitors through the fabulous stories of these four lads, from their childhood to their position as the most famous band in the world with lavish replica exhibits of the Casbah, Abbey Road Studios, and more that authentically capture the spirit of their time.

After your tour of The Beatles Story is complete, the rest of the day is at your leisure to explore Liverpool on your own.

After breakfast, you have the option of choosing between a private or shared Beatlemania-focused Liverpool tour today before returning to Manchester in the evening. Journey through the lives of The Beatles, from their childhood to when they became international icons. Tour pivotal locations such as Ringoland, St. Peter's Church where John and Paul first met, their childhood homes and schools, and the sites that inspired their classic songs before making your final stop on Matthew Street - home of the famous Cavern Club.

This guided tour will take you through this award-winning distillery to see first-hand every aspect of production before sampling some of their gins at the end of the tour.
