Arrive Istanbul:

Whether your cruise is ending or about to begin, we'll pick you up in a private transfer from either the cruise port or the new Istanbul Airport. Remember that Americans need a visa to travel to Turkey, but getting one is incredibly easy and available online. Transfer to central Istanbul and check in to your hotel in the historic center for the evening.

See the most famed domes of Istanbul, and learn how this city has always been a crossroads of cultures, throughout history. Start with the awe-inspiring Hagia Sophia, a Byzantine Church considered to be one of the finest architectural works in the world. Next, visit the Blue Mosque, synonymous with the city's skyline. Then on to the Hippodrome, ancient Constantinople's social and sporting center. It's not a trip to Istanbul until you have experienced the Grand Bazaar, both a place of historical importance and the best place to pick up unique souvenirs. Please note that the Hagia Sophia is closed on Mondays, and the Topaki Palace will be visited instead.

Istanbul:

Continue your journey into the heart of Istanbul, starting with a cruise on the Bosphorus. Float between two continents, with views of palaces and mansions on either side. Continue to the spice market, where you will learn the specialties of spices, smell each of them, and will learn how to use them with different meals. You'll try the famed Turkish Delight and visit a historic coffee roaster. Next, head to Topaki Palace, home to more colorful stories than most of the world`s royal residences.

Note: Topaki Palace is closed on Tuesdays and can be swapped with the Hagia Sophia.
