Arrive in Berlin, Germany's lively capital city. Enjoy the eclectic architecture of the city, from modern museums to landmarks rebuilt from pre-war rubble or entirely new in steel and glass.

Berlin:
Depending on the day of the week and/or your interest, you will spend your second day sightseeing on one of our shared walking tours offered in Berlin. Our expert guides will take you back in time as you discover the history of this city from World War One to Hitler's rise to power in 1933. After your tour, the rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the city on your own.

Berlin:
Spend the day at your leisure exploring Berlin. Consider a trip to Museum Island, where you can visit the famed Pergamon Museum and see the magnificent Pergamon Altar. Along the way, you'll pass by many art galleries, cafés, and churches. Feel free to stop, take a break, and enjoy the atmosphere of this vibrant city. Or, choose to add an optional experience like a Street Art Walking Tour. Starting in the '60s painting on the side of the Wall, through Berlin's hedonistic heyday in the 1990s, artists the world over have come to the Hauptstadt to leave their mark. A guided tour is the best way for you to find the hidden corners that most visitors never get to see, as your guide will know what's new, who`s who, and where to go to see the freshest and finest works that Berlin has to offer.

Berlin to Nuremberg:
After breakfast, hop on the train and make your way to Nuremberg. Explore Old Town by foot, starting at the main market square in front of Our Lady's Church. Take in the impressive Gothic churches, old city walls and fountains that lend a romantic atmosphere to the medieval center of town. With your 2-Day Nuremberg card you have free admission to all museums and attractions as well as free travel on all public transportation services.

Nuremberg:
Explore the historic treasures of Nuremberg, from the hillside imperial castle towering over the city, to Courtroom 600 where the Nuremberg trials were held. There are also many fine museums in Nuremberg covering a broad range of topics, pleasing a variety of visitors. During your day, why not try some traditional gingerbread, one of the beloved delicacies of the city. Enjoy a traditional dinner that is included during your 2-night stay.

Nuremberg to Munich:
Continue on to Munich by train. Rich in culture, architecture and historical landmarks, Munich has something for every visitor. Start exploring the city around Karlsplatz, where you can access the pedestrian shopping zone that leads down to Marienplatz, Munich's central square. There are many sights in this area including the old city gates, the Glockenspiel, Munich's beautiful city hall and of course the Hofbräuhaus, Germany's most famous beer hall.

Munich:
See more of Munich on your hop-on/hop-off city tour via double decker bus. Arrive on your own across the street from the central rail station to check in for your tour between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily. Double decker buses depart every thirty minutes during summer months. (Redeem your voucher on the bus at any stop.) This is a fun way to see the city at your own pace, since you can leave or rejoin the tour as you wish. Take advantage of the ride and plan visits to some of Munich's renowned museums.

Munich:
Your last day in Munich is free to enjoy and explore on your own. Wander through the quaint Viktualienmarkt (farmer's market just off the Marienplatz), with local food, crafts, beer gardens, and street vendors who will love haggling a good price with you. Perhaps you would enjoy one of our optional tours to the Bavarian countryside and see the famous castles, parks, or small quaint villages. Your evening and trip ends with a fine dinner in the famous Ratskeller Restaurant located right below the town hall on Marienplatz square. Dinner includes: Starter - pancake soup, Main dish - choice from pot roast, chicken breast or vegetarian - dinner rolls included, and Dessert - apple fritters with walnut ice cream.
