Arrive Paris:

After landing and clearing customs, claim your bags and meet your driver who will transfer you to your hotel. You have the rest of the day to see Paris on your own. Paris is an eminently walkable city, so drop your bags and go for a walk!

Paris:

After breakfast, your exploration of Paris continues with a
Private Paris Street Art Walking Tour. Make your way to the starting point of the tour, 130 Blvd. de Belleville, by 9:45 a.m. to meet your English-speaking guide.

In Belleville, a fantastic tourist-friendly neighborhood off the beaten track, participants will discover a different side of Paris and see amazing street art that drives forward Paris' contemporary creativity. Former industrial buildings have been converted into artists' studios and Belleville has become the center of Paris' urban art movement.

The guide is passionate about urban art and will share works by both French and foreign street artists, such as a giant wall fresco by Jerome Menager to the mosaic tile creations of the artist known as Space Invader. The tour is very relaxed, and you might even see artists working on new outdoor art during the two-hour walk. After the tour, you are free to continue exploring Paris on your own.

Today you have a private tour of either Louvre or Musée d'Orsay—you make the choice at the time of booking. Rest of the day at leisure.

Paris to Florence:

This morning after breakfast, take your private transfer to Paris' CDG Airport for your flight to Florence. On arrival in Florence, a driver will meet you for your private transfer to your hotel. You have the rest of the day to relax or to begin exploring Florence on your own.

Florence:

Today you will delve into the beginnings of the Renaissance with a Private Florence City Tour with Museum Visit. Your local guide and driver will meet you at the hotel at an agreed-upon morning time and take you on an 8-hour tour of this great city to show you its highlights, including the Duomo (Cathedral), Giotto's Tower, the Baptistery, and the Academy of Fine Arts with the David by Michelangelo (Academy entrance included).

Note: Uffizi Gallery may be substituted for Academy

After a break for an optional lunch, the tour continues with visits to additional highlights, including Piazza Santa Croce, Piazza de Signoria, and the Ponte Vecchio. At the conclusion of the tour, you will be returned to your hotel.

Florence:

Today is another 8-hour excursion with a Private Pisa and Lucca Tour with Light Lunch. Your English-speaking driving guide will pick you up at your hotel at an agreed-upon morning time and will whisk you out of Florence to Pisa, where you will be overwhelmed by the architecture concentrated in Piazza Dei Miracoli:

• the Cathedral, where Galileo Galilei was inspired to invent the pendulum clock
• the Baptistery
• the monumental Cemetery
• the famous Leaning Tower

The tour will then continue to Lucca, another gem of Italian architecture. Surrounded by an almost intact City wall, Lucca is a charming town with a pedestrian island that allows the visitor to wander around and enjoy the shops in peace. During the tour you will also enjoy a light lunch with wine at local restaurant in Lucca. At the conclusion of the tour, you will be returned to you hotel.

Florence to Rome:

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the rail station for your 1½-hour 1st-class train ride to Rome. Upon arrival in Rome you'll be transferred to your hotel. You have the rest of the day to relax or to begin exploring Rome on your own.

Rome:

Today you have the morning free for exploring Rome. In the afternoon, you'll have a Private Vatican Museums Tour. You'll be picked up at 2 p.m. for this three-hour tour of one of the world's greatest museums. In addition to many masterpieces from the Renaissance, you'll also see the Sistine Chapel, one of Michelangelo's greatest works. At the end of the tour, you are free to explore the area around Vatican City, and Trastevere—the district of Rome that adjoins the Vatican.

Rome:

Today you will see many cultural highlights of Rome, when you take a Private Renaissance Rome Tour. Your English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel at 9 a.m. for the three-hour tour.

The tour will begin with a visit to Villa Chigi della Farnesina. The Villa takes the name of the banker who commissioned to the architect Baldassarre Peruzzi in the early sixteenth century. The villa houses masterpieces by Raphael, Sebastiano del Piombo, Giovanni Bazzi, to name but a few. The tour will continue with a walk through Campo dei Fiori, the most colorful open-air market where one can see all kinds of goods from fresh fruit and vegetables to household tools. The next step will be Piazza Farnese where you will enjoy the view of the lovely Palazzo Farnese, an architectural masterpiece, the work of artists such as Michelangelo and Sangallo. The building today is a seat of the French Embassy.

Rome to Barcelona:

This morning after breakfast, take your private transfer to Rome Airport for your flight to Barcelona. On arrival in Barcelona, a driver will meet you for your private transfer to your hotel. You have the rest of the day to relax or to begin exploring Barcelona on your own.

Barcelona:

Today you will have a Private Barcelona Tour with Sagrada Familia & Güell Park. The tour starts at your hotel, heading to the Port and Olympic Village. Once there you will enjoy La Barceloneta, the beach of Barcelona, and the sea. You will also pass by Montjuic, where we will admire a panorama of the city and Port from the mirador. Continue the tour with as you descend to Plaza de Espa a and Gran Via. From here, you will continue to Sagrada Familia, one of the highlight of Barcelona, a masterpiece of the brilliant architect Gaudi.

Barcelona:

Your last day on this vacation is yours to explore the city on your own. You have waiting for you a three-course lunch at Marina Bay by Monchos Restaurant, overlooking the harbor. After lunch, you can walk through the nearby Gothic Quarter, the oldest section of the city. Try to catch a view of this beautiful city by night!

Departure:

Today you say farewell to Europe as you have a private transfer to the Barcelona Airport, for your flight back to New York (or other selected city).
