Buenos Aires:
A perfect introduction to South America's most elegant capital city, take a Half-Day City Tour that will show you the highlights of Buenos Aires. The tour begins with a drive along 9th of July Avenue, with its 8 lanes, the widest avenue in the world. Another landmark is the Colon Theatre, the city's famous opera house. Continue to the historic center, Plaza de Mayo, a lovely plaza with flower gardens and tall palm trees; the scene of many of the city's historic political events. Surrounding the plaza are colonial buildings of interest: the Casa Rosada (Pink House), the seat of the executive branch of the government; the Cabildo (Town Council) with its historic museum; the Metropolitan Cathedral, which holds the tomb of General Jose de San Martin, the father of Argentine independence.

Buenos Aires:
Spend the day on your own, exploring this magical city. What better way to spend an evening in Buenos Aires than with this city's quintessential music? Tango is the music of Buenos Aires par excellence. Its origin can be traced back to 1880 to the slums inhabited by Italian and Spanish immigrants, Africans, and gauchos. Despite its humble origins, in the 1920s tango moved into the high-class ballrooms. To feel its spirit, visit one of the restaurants that offer a high-quality tango show, and enjoy the sensual magnetism of tango performed by some of the best dancers, singers and musicians in Buenos Aires. You will be picked up at your hotel and taken to one of the typical tango houses in the San Telmo, the neighborhood of tango. Dinner will be Argentine specialties including good Argentine wine. After dinner, enjoy a fabulous tango show. After the show (around midnight), return transportation is provided to your hotel.

Arrive Iguassu Falls:
Early morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguassu Falls. It has been said that Iguassu Falls surpasses the grandeur of both Niagara and Victoria Falls. Situated on the borders of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay, Iguassu Falls is one of South America's greatest treasures. Taller than Niagara by 65 feet, and twice as wide, Iguassu Falls consists of 275 cascades spread across nearly 2 miles. It is ideal to view the Falls from both the Argentina side and the Brazil side. On the Argentina side, the walking tour will take you to a magnificent vantage point above the Devil's Throat, where the water plunges 240 feet. The best panoramic views of the falls are from the system of catwalks on the Brazil side. Airport greeting and transfer to your selected hotel.
