Many of the premier museums of London have free general admission! Note: there may be costs for special exhibits.

The British Museum: Open daily 10am – 5:30pm, open late on Thurs. and Fri.

The National Gallery: Open daily 10am – 6pm, open late on Fri. (Tip: bring your sketch book to create a personal memento)

National History Museum: Open daily 10am – 5:50pm

The Tate Britain: Open daily 10am – 5:50pm, open late on the first Friday of each month

Tate Modern: Open daily 10am – 6pm, open late on Fri. and Sat.

Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A Museum): Open daily 10am – 5:45pm daily, open late on Fri.
