    Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1 ~ Arrive Reykjavik: Airport transfers and optional tours available upon request. Day free at leisure. We recommend a visit to the world renowned Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa, located just 15 minutes from Keflavik International Airport. (Accommodations, Reykjavik)

Day 2 ~ South Shore Adventure, Snowmobile, and a Geothermal Pool: Breakfast at the hotel. You will then be picked up by the car rental representative to finalize the rental procedure and pick up the chosen car (for the pick-up time please refer to what specified in your booking confirmation).

The journey South is through a fertile countryside, where the ominous Hekla volcano can be seen on a clear day and where majestic mountains meet wide plains formed by glacial rivers. The landscape is adorned with spectacular waterfalls including Skogarfoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can enjoy a truly unique viewpoint by walking behind the curtain of thundering water.

When you reach Myrdalsjokull glacier it is time for an adrenaline kick as you go on a 1 hour snowmobile adventure. The tour begins at Solheimakot farm, where you'll get a snowsuit and strap on a helmet and step into a Super Jeep for a ride up the mountain to the glacier where your snowmobile awaits. There is nothing quite like the feeling of racing across an Arctic glacier at 40 km with nothing but icy snowfields surrounding you and the heavenly skies above. Snowmobiles are easy to operate and everything you need for a safe and comfortable ride is provided. The glacier adventure offers stunning photo opportunities so be sure to bring your camera with you. After all the snowmobile excitement you'll enjoy the serene views from the peaceful seafront village of Vik in the fertile Myrdal Valley which is set along a dramatic stretch of coastline, quaintly poised between glacier topped mountains, rugged sea cliffs and black sand beaches. Vik is Iceland's most southerly village and one of the most popularly photographed areas in the country, in particular Reynisdrangar rock formations that jut out from the sea and are a visual trademark for the town.

In the evening enjoy a relaxing soak in one of Iceland's best kept secrets, Seljavallalaug Geothermal Pool, nestled in a narrow valley at the foot of a mountain. This 25-meter outdoor pool was built in 1923 and has one wall that is actually a mountainside where naturally heated water trickles in. This hidden gem provides the perfect solitude for viewing the elusive Northern Lights and a starry sky with the surrounding mountains as your only companion. (Breakfast, Reykjavik; Accommodations, Vik)

Day 3 ~ Glacier Walk on Solheimajokull Glacier: Today you will enjoy a hands-on interaction with breathtaking Solheimajokull glacier on a 1.5 hour guided glacier walk. Explore cauldrons, waterways, deep crevasses, natural ice sculptures and the different shades of color found on the ice-cap from aqua blue to white and clear ice. While nature provides the classroom for this awesome learning experience, the professional guides provide the basic glacier equipment, crampons and ice axes, required for this tour.

Afternoon of leisure or continue your adventure by adding a full throttle ATV quad-biking session in the rugged landscape of Porsmork Nature Reserve or at the base of Eyjafjallajokull volcano. (Breakfast, Vik; Accommodations, Reykjavik)

Day 4 ~ Departure Day: Airport transfer available upon request. Depart with plenty of memories and an adventure that will certainly impress and entertain your friends and family for years to come! (Breakfast, Reykjavik)
